West Worcester Girls score twice with Fitchett Homes
As part of the Bloor Homes Group, Fitchett Homes is bringing a select number of elegant new homes to Elgar Park, next door to the Club’s football ground on Martley Road.
This isn’t the first time the developer has sponsored the Girls team here – in 2019 Bloor Homes was the first sponsors of the newly formed U9s Girls team.
Kim Benson, Sales Director for Bloor Homes’ South West region, which includes Fitchett Homes, said: “We have a long history of supporting grass roots clubs across the country and we loved the idea of supporting the girls team in Worcestershire again.
“Girls sport has come a long way since 2019 and has certainly made headlines this year, with the Lionesses winning the Women’s Euros, and the Red Roses winning the Women’s Rugby World Cup. We hope the girls wear their new shirts with pride, because we are very proud to sponsor them.”
Drawing on more than five decades of expert housebuilding as part of the Bloor Homes Group, Fitchett Homes is bringing a new and exclusive neighbourhood of 125 homes with Georgian and Victorian inspired features across 13 different house styles to Elgar Park.

“Like the vast majority of grass roots clubs, we rely on fundraising or sponsorship to be able to provide our teams with the right equipment and kit. Thank you to Fitchett Homes for giving us such a great start to the season.”
West Worcester FC is committed to growing the girls’ game, offering dedicated girls-only football sessions. They host a development centre every Tuesday evening for girls in Years 1–6, and their teams proudly compete in the Mercian Junior Football League.
